Briefly about the project
Charlie acquired this sweet vintage Corvette from his in-laws many years ago. The car was a bit tired but it was all there and original. He requested an authentic and original restoration down to the bias ply tires and original hub caps. He wanted to go through the whole car to make it reliable. He did authorize updating ignition system to electronics for reliability. He also wanted to restore his dash and hard top. When Charlie can no longer drive his Corvette he plans on passing it on to his daughter Olympic Champion and Water Polo Gold Medalist Heather Petri.
